The factory recently started making the Infiniti JX and the Nissan Leaf electric vehicle, and is expected to produce the new Rogue crossover as well, so the upgrade was much needed.
At the Washington Auto Show today, Nissan outlined its strategy for tripling the current electric vehicle quick-charging infrastructure in the United States with the addition of at least 500 quick-charging stations in the next 18 months, including the greater Washington D.C. area’s first fast-charge network.

The LEAF to Home power supply system can supply electricity from batteries onboard a Nissan LEAF electric vehicle (EV) to homes when used with the “EV Power Station” unit developed by the NICHICON CORPORATION.
